The School Development Planning Initiative (Post-Primary) was established in 1999 to stimulate and strengthen a culture of collaborative development planning in schools, with a view to promoting school improvement and effectiveness.

SDPI (Post-Primary) provides a range of supports for schools (including):

• Support services from the SDPI team
• Guideline materials through SDPI Publications in print and on the Web
• SDPI also works with and through other education agencies in helping school communities to address their planning needs.
